Dear Mr. Busse,

This is a serious decision and I am not going to cast my vote all Willy Nilly
I think it would be best for you to send both of those blades
to my Chicago residence for "hands on" testing.
My highly opinionated opinion would help you immensely.
If you include an SASE,I will do my
best to get them them back to you in a timely fashion.
(say,oh,two weeks)

There's the HOG answer!

I vote drop.

I've used both designs a fair amount, and for my needs the trailing point is more useful. That's how I voted.

There we go...just what I was hoping for and expecting:)

I'm really digging the Trailing Point. I'm looking forward to the Spyderco South Fork too.

voting trail point because I already have some drop point but they are both nice.

I'm liking the trail point! Looks like a boning knife. Plus, it's something a bit different from all the other drop/clip point blades.
I really agree with you here Rob, I want to get a GW to cover the drop point slot in my collection..
I am not into the orange scales usually, but I like the solid orange on this one, especially for its intended purpose as a field/hunting knife, mmmm droool....:D
