I have always been into knives to a certain degree, but it was a Kershaw that really drop kicked me over the edge into this crazy/awesome world of blades and amazing people.

With that being said...which Kershaw knife made you a follower?

ZT0301. Had one then sold it. Bought other Kershaws (Scallion, Chive, Volt, Volt II) off and on over the years but always regretted getting rid of the 301. Last month replaced the 0301 thanks to Dave. It's feels good to see it among my other ZT's. It was the one that really got me into Kershaw stuff. The quality, design, and materials never cease to impress.

The 0301 was my first ZT. I love the heck out of it.

The Leek got me into nicer knives. Before then I mainly carried junk knives and a cheap Gerber. So Kershaw pretty much pulled me into the knife world and is still my favorite manufacturer for EDC.

For me it was a few steps, I carried a Storm II for years then lost it so I got a Blur. Then I saw a pic of the S60V Blurs, I love green and wanted it, then I found a ZDP-189 and SG2 Blur for sale, bought those and never stopped buying knives. I thought all Blurs were the same back then, I knew sooo little. Now the Offsets and Bumps series got me along with ZT. I never thought I'd spend over $150 on a knife.

For me, it was the Oso Sweet. Picked it up for $19 brand new. It was my first 'real' knife. My first knife that wasn't 'surgical stainless'.

For me it started with a Ti Talon, then a 1410 which I carried for 4 years, loved the ATS-34, but did not have the sharpening skills so wore the blade down. Then Ken Onion came on board and it went down hill fast.

My dad bought me a couple Smith & Wesson folders a long time ago. I showed one to a guy at work around '98 and he whipped out a Whirlwind. First a/o I'd seen and he had it CRAZY sharp. Bought my own about a month later, and so it began...
