Which one is calling your name?

I feel kinda weird. There's not a single knife calling my name right now. I mean there are ones I want, but nothing is tormenting me. Everything I want either requires someone to open their order list back up or waiting for it to come out...

I would love an 0350CB, Volt, D2 AFCK or Original Manix, but I'll get all of those eventually. No impending need to acquire them right this second.

my itch was fulfilled today with a stonewashed tilt and a zt560. both just happened to show up in my mailbox today. next on my list is a Strider SNG Gunner Grip.

Right now I'm most excited for the release of the Cold Steel Holdout 1. Big and simple, it should make a great utility knife.

Micarta. While not a specific knife, I've recently got a hankering for something new in micarta. So I went uptown and downtown and ordered me an Al Mar Ultralight Eagle and a CRKT Centofante Tribute 2 (don't laugh)... :)

EDIT: Add pics. Fresh from the letter-carrier...

I am so trying to keep this to one knife. SPYDERCO MANIX 2 XL and spyderco vallotton . There done. Faron

after browsing around on here for a while some of the pretentious knives have began beckoning. i may start looking around for an xm-18. i really never thought i would be interested in the custom knives, but i suppose seeing pictures of them, and reading about the sparked an interest.

Curly birch Chambriard Compact - Stefan (schmalhaus) has done a proper job knocking down my defenses with his recent reviews. My bank account curses you!

I hear you.
I just ordered a GEC Northfield watch pocket ivory sunfish.
I need some overtime.

I'm getting the BM 806-1101 AFCK with M390 in the mail today. The BM 755 MPR, also M390, is due in a week. I'm happy.

Absolutely. Great design, great steel.

Well, I did it. Just ordered myself a brand-new Benchmade 710-2 with M390 steel. You gave me just that little push that I needed:thumbup:. Thanks you.

Benchmade Osborne.
um...... no
ANY BENCHMADE AT ALL!
ive never owned one. and i dont even know anyone who does.
ive never even TOUCHED ONE!
its so sad..........

Oh man, everyone needs at least 1 Benchmade. I just ordered the 710 as stated above. I think everyone needs at least one mini grip if I had to pick one.
But my top choices right now would be: Mini-Griptilian, 710 with M390, Contego(preorder) or the AFCK-M390. Add to that the Presidio version with CPM-M4.

The Mini-Grip is the cheapest of those, but it's such a good EDC, only thing is the scales are lame:(. But on the flip side, more reason to get some gorgeous Cuscadi or Wilkins scales. With those, it's a world class knife (especially the Doug Ritter variation).

I'm lusting over scales made for a popular Benchmade line.

They are made in Germany. Right now the Mini version are availible but the full size scales are coming out again soon.

Nothing calling my name so badly that I feel compelled to buy it (though plenty on the wish list). Closest thing right now are some of the freshly-joined forumite John Neeman's axes. That means a lot coming from me because as much as I love a good axe you should all know I'm a more of a machete man. :)

My most recent acquisition was the Mora #333 that I used in my batoning proof video demonstrating that it would hold up. I was originally going to sell it as a "Grade B" just since it had been used, but I liked it too much. :p

I'm SO F***ING obsessed wi the AFCK.
I just ordered the limited edition 806-1101 with coated blade yesterday and I absolutely can't wait for it to get here. I've done nothing but look at pictures of this knife for days!

I too, am thinking of a Buck single blade stockman. They seem to be out of stock most places, eh? I like my little Buck 309 pretty well.

I'm also thinking of a Great Eastern Cutlery Powderhorn, which is their toothpick design. I like my little Case small toothpick, but I'm having trouble find a good medium sized toothpick that isn't a fishing knife.

I've wanted a Carter neck knife for a while now, I need to experience their sharpness for myself. ... coming in a really close second and third are a Winkler Belt knife, and a Jared Price friction folder
