which one of these would you prefer?

bladeHQ has the mini grip in stock. I really really love that little knife. I think the handles are actually very comfortable to use.

Yeah, that's true but gpknives.com has the mini grip for 59.50 and blade hq has them for 80. Is there something I'm missing here? whats with the big price difference?

No idea! Knife supply has a few in the $60 range, but a limited supply.

I can see why many of you have such a large knife collection.
I'm considering selling a couple things around the house so i can buy both the delica and mini grip. :) or something equivalent in price to both combined.
ahhhhhhhhh so many options!

If you can spend a few more bucks like you've mentioned, take a look at the Sage 1 from Spyderco. It is an amazing knife for the money. They can be had for $90 or less if you look around on the exchange here. Great ergos, good steel, great blade shape, light and dang good looking.

I have always had good luck with Benchmade and Spyderco.

I did own an AK but ended up breaking the handle. Might have been a bad knife, I wasn't exactly gentle with it, but I was a still a little surprised it broke.

Get the Delica. The bigger handle and slim profile both constitute practical advantages over the mini Grip. I have one Mini Grip (a Ritter) but find the handle a tad too small for a confidence-inspiring grip while cutting cardboard, for instance. On the other hand, I have and carry regularly 5 different Delicas. No, not all at once!

I agree with the others who say that the FFG Delica is an awesome slicer. And it is even lighter than the saber ground model.

I'd go with the Delica, FFG will be the best slicer but the saber grind is nothing to sneeze at. I don't know anything about the Cold Steel and my experience the BM has been lackluster.

If I had to pick only 1 of those to ride in my pocket I would go with the mini grip. Second choice would be the spydie I think but I have not handled the CS so I probably shouldn't have weighed in but oh well.

for uber strenght go with the ak-47. for slim and lightweight for for the delica. slight combination of both griptilian

You have been spydermauled.
I have heard nothing but praise for the delica. get it, and if you can't stand it, you will totally be able to sell it.

I have the old aluminum handle ak-47, M390 mini grip, and several variations of the Delicate. I love my Delicas but haven't carried any of them since I got my mini grip in November. The ak-47 is a good tool belt/bag/rig construction beater but not something I would carry in my pocket all day.

I have both the Delica 4 FFG and the Mini G 556. Both great knives. The Mini G has a somewhat beefier blade and the Axis lock, also USA made. Both great knives.

I know it wasn't part of your original three, but you might want to look into some Kershaws, such as the Blur, or Zings. Or even the ZT line...just a thought...
