Which one should I buy myself??

OK here is the other size. The question you ask is a hard one. If I could only have one or the other, I would probably choose the Delta Z. Don't get me wrong, I would never go without my 690, its a great knife. I like the clip better on the Osprey, it rides extremely low in my pocket. I also prefer the Opsreys blade profile to the 690s. While both have nice wooden handles, if I had to choose which I liked better, it would also go to the Delta. The Osprey has a Slimmer profile yet offers a slightly larger cutting edge. I always liked the 690 b/c dispite its small size, it is comfortable in my large hands, I could say the same for both. My advise is buy them both!! :D
 
How do you compare the lockup between the two ?
I have been looking at the both the 690 ( though in the CF version) and the Osprey . Would love to have both but after buying the Henchman , a Remington 1100 and another Enfield I am tapped and need to save some cash for Vegas Classic . One of these two and hopefully a Swamp Rat Bandicoot will be added to the collection in the nexy month or so .
 
Wish I could help there. Both models I have lock up like a Bank Vault. Both have 0 blade play, Both are liners and they are both VERY SMOOTH!!!! If the 690 had an Axis, I would say go for that first, but it doesn't so I would recomend trying to handle both of them. I know thats not likely for most, at least it wasn't an option for me. But either one you buy, you'll be happy.:) I would say that the Delta is easier to adjust with its custom pivot and comes with the tool for adjustment. Maybe thats the edge between the two.;) I would like to hear from someone else who has both. I might be biased, b/c I have been wanting one of these for a long time and I finally got it. :)

Well APM, It took me a full week, but I now have a Rainbow Leek on the way!!:D So which should be next?? I am thinking the Cuda or the Brend :)

Maybe someone could elaberate on how this is done, I have no clue:) They are BadA-S little hackets. I have heard nothing but good things about them.
 
Check the Strider website, they show in detail how they do that paracord handle wrapping. Atleast they used to, it should still be there.
 
I was wondering if the handle was thinner on the Brend, might not allow for that wrap. I may be wrong though, the one they got on 2theHilt seems to be wrapped that way (or similar). They come unwrapped so we will get to choose when the time comes.

Awesome pricepoint on the Brend. Everything he designs seems to look dangerous in absolutley the coolest way possible. Stylin and functional.


Gonna have me some Brend customs when I git allll rich n' famous. ;)
