The Cuda EDC or the Vapor, the Vapor because you can get one for like $15. The Buck is nice also, and I've never heard of the other one.

I personally would go with the Cuda. :)

Well, if you're looking for the biggest bang for the buck, the Buck probably won't be your best bet (no pun intended). All of the folders you mentioned will serve you well.

They all look the same to me...

or at least they're so similar that I wouldn't base my purchase on appearance. I'd make my decision on price/value/materials.

The Buck. The pivot pin on my EDC won't stay tight. It's been a problem on both of the ones I've owned.

Vapor 2 is a great knife, outstanding value. It was my top EDC pick for years until I got the scratch together for a Sebenza.

The EDC is a great cutter and a great value. Haven't had pivot screw problems with mine, though I may have used some blue loctite when I took it apart to clean it a few years ago.

It looks like most folks areassuming that it's the Ti/S30V Mayo but the knife you pictured isn't that model, or the much less expensive Northshore model (aluminum/ 420HC steel) but the even less expensive model shown at shot. It looks like there will be a total of four different Buck Mayos as I heard th enew model you pictured will be available in a large and small size. Do you have materials specifics?

John

Nope, I realize that's the lower priced Mayo. I just think it's a better knife and I've had good experience with Buch in the past.

OK, I saw a thread over on that other forum with more details. The new Buck will be 420HC with Aluminum handles and will retail for $40.00 or $45.00 depending on large or small and are to be made in China. I'd probably puck the Buck as I love Tom's designs (already have a Buck TNT and a real TNT). It's projected that they will be available for even less at Wally World.
