Which one would you pick (pictures)

I vastly prefer the paragee. The EDC has a handle I thought best fitted to small hands.

The Kershaw just doesn't have the quality of the EDC or Paragee.

The Hilo is an unknown, but with good heritage. But i like the style cues of the Paragee better.

;)
I have a Buck/Mayo TNT and it is awsome sharp and very well made, however, I also have the Camillus TALONITE EDC and am also very happy with it. My EDC seems to just keep on cutting even when it feels dull (thats talonite for ya).

I feel that dollar-for-dollar, you usually get what you pay for if you are buying good brand knives.

I not too impressed with what I have seen come out of China except for some of Paul Chen's stuff.

Ciao

The Camillus EDC
I had a Vapor for a while but the thumbstud was too pointy and hurt my thumb.

Not a big fan of the blade steel in the Buck Mayo, but that would still be my choice of the bunch shown.

I would go with the Buck/Mayo.

Isn't anyone going to say............SEBENZA?! :p

SPYDERCO DELICA :D

or Endura or Manix or Chinook II or Benchmade 806D2 or 710 HS :)

Of those pictured I'd go with the BUCK MAYO, then the EDC.

The Camillus Cuda Dominater would be the best framelock of all though:) Buck makes really good knives, and from my own experience Camillus makes great knives.

I’ve lined these up because they‘re so streaking similar in built and in materials.
So I wondered if the quality would also be the same. ;)

I have both the EDC and the Paragee. Both easy to use, sharpen and maintain. People don't freak when they see 'em, in fact they usually ask for a closer look.

:D The scores are...

Paragee 2 votes
Vapor 3 votes
EDC 8 votes

And the winner is…
Buck Mayo with 10 votes

Buck Mayo, especially the Hilo, 440C is a good steel and it is a great knife and a great price from an outstanding company (even if they are moving from San Diego)

Buck Mayo. I've always found Buck to be an excellent company and have liked every one of their knives that I have owned.

Well, While I voted for The Buck here, I also just traded for an EDC on another forum. Go figure? The fact that it was the TAlonite version might have had something to do with it :)

John

the vapor is made out of AUS6 steel :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf:
so i would have to pick the Camillus EDC

I like the Mayo's. I had the Mayo Northshore from Buck. I liked it a lot and it was better than expected being from taiwan. Well it got real loose and starting rubbing the side. My buck rep came to the store and i gave him some joking crap about buck shuld make better products than that. He laughed and traded me his Mayo TNT for my broken northshore. Well i am hooked on the s30v. i would never hesitate in buying any mayo. personal or a collaberation with another company
