It’s when a nicely set table has maybe a dozen garish knives carefully placed and a youth yanks the cloth so quickly and skillfully that he barely disrupts the vase on the table which would surely cause corrosion via electrolysis due to all the dissimilar metals. The garish knife looks at the camera and painfully asks “release me”. If it doesn’t make sense you’re a bit suspect.

I don't know, they look okay for the money to me. I take it the rest of you disagree. I thought Balbach Damascus was rather respected. What am I missing here lads?

Citadel from all appearances makes nice knives, but not at that price......maybe half that would be reasonable.

Eye of beholder i guess, then. I disagree completely, as long as it's stainless. I thought all they did was carbon steel. Just found out these are Marcus balbach stainless Damascus. Now I'm back in. I was thinking of buying both, but am really trying not to be so wasteful and duplicating things unnecessarily like I always do. Thanks for the input.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of the design. Just seems like a lot going on there. But go for it if you like it.
