Greetings
Found this forum while looking at the strider site. I need a strider but which one. I like all of them but one of the backup's would likely fit the bill. I would carry it all the time. Tending the cows, serving papers, at the movies, church, volunteer fireman, living life. Any ideas? Thanks alot! This is a great site!

id definetaly get a DB for firefighting type work,
but for everything else id go with an SLCC in BG-42, its not as tough a DB but its so easy to carry. ever since i got mine a few weeks ago i havent carried any other fixed blade (except the day i got my TKa:D )
for my first id prolly go with the DB though, i love mine.

I NEVER miss a chance to praise the AD, although I'm told that Strider doesn't make them anymore. They prefer the SA. I think that the AD is Strider's greatest knife and the greatest tactical knife made, and, as I never fail to mention, it saved my life. Trade with someone on the forums and get a used AD and learn to rig it under your armpit w/ paracord. That's all you need.
