What's the best for EDC, a blue, serrated edge Dodo, a micarta SPOT, a Ronin, or a Centofante I plain edge? I've located one of each (whether it be locally or on eBay) and was wondering which would serve the best on a day-to-day basis? Thanks for the help. God bless America.

I love my Dodo which can eat anything I give it. It has a big stomach;) .

I've handled a Micarta SPOT and found the blade to short for EDC duty. SD purposes would be served much better with it.

The Ronin was the fixed Yojimbo which has amazing Utility/SD capabilities. I would pick the Ronin for this reason.

Or you could get the Dodo and the Ronin. The Dodo for tougher stuff the Ronin can't handle. Get the DODO and the RONIN. They make a great couple!

Get the Centofante! Those are hard to come by so is it is a good price grab it. They don't make them anymore and they are great knives. I have loved all the Centofante knives so far. I am really giving the Cent 4 a workout. It just seems to get most of the cutting chores lately. I haven't found aything that it was not at least decent at. I generally prefer the falt ground blade but this is so thin that it is not a big problem when slicing through fruits and veggies like I thought it might be.
