Which one?

Lol oh yeah sorry. I was gunna add detail but i guess i got done adding the links n forgot haha. I will be using it for fishing (cutting line), cutting cardboard, blister packs, shaving sticks when i get bored, zip ties, tape and random other things around the house. I want something i can bring into the woods and the edge will hold well and ill feel safe with. I never intend to use a knife for defense so i never factor that in. I can fight just fine.

Not sure about the ergos of the ET.

The Boot knife is shaped for stabbing, not general use.

The Leek is the only general purpose design of those three. Got the best steel for such use as well.

I'd go for the Leek.

Leek for your purposes, but for the outdoors, I'd want a much thicker blade. Check out The Spyderco Endura or Delica, as well as a Benchmade Griptillian or Mini Griptillian.

The Leek is the best choice in the selection, but I would look to something with a blade shape that is a little more rugged. The S30V and G10 handles is a good start tho.

Out of those three the leek is by far the best choice.

Have you considered a mora? Perhaps a laminated mora?

Maybe even two moras? :D

I have like 60$ TO SPEND.

No you don't. You have $60 to save towards the purchase of your first Bark River or Fallkniven (or other worthy competitor).

Trust me, saving up for great knives instead of getting a bunch of lesser knives you don't need and after a while will never use is much more fun. You may also have fun learning the ways of the Mighty and Awesome convex edge. Many people are so overwhelmed by the pure ecstasy of their first convex experience that they reprofile every knife they own afterwards.

Out of those choices, I would say the Leek by far. But I'm not a huge fan of its blade shape for a lot of tasks. Check out the RAM instead :D

There are many excellent knives available for ~$60.

that's alot of money for the E.T.! i pretty sure i got mine for under 50.00 :) it can handle most of the chores you mentioned in your second post and is quite fun to play with you're not working! :D

I have 95 but im buying the girl a 25$ ashworth turtle knife so. That brings me down to 65$ish so i save for tax.

If you get the E.T., make sure you buy bandages. YOU WILL NEED THEM!!! Not, probably, not might or maybe. YOU WILL!!! Let me re-iterate, YOU WILL NEED THEM!!!

There, done my good deed for the day!

I'm thinking of the leek. Why isn't it a suitable knife? Is the E.T.'s bladesteel any good? I'm not scared of getting cut and i learn quick, maybe if it seems to be difficult ill throw on some mechanix gloves.

Is the Spyderco Tenacious and that Kershaw Leek comparable? I've been considering the Tenacious also, but I want a good steel. Best I own is 154cm. I want something that will last and I love the G10 handles.
