Which one?

No you don't. You have $60 to save towards the purchase of your first Bark River or Fallkniven (or other worthy competitor).

Trust me, saving up for great knives instead of getting a bunch of lesser knives you don't need and after a while will never use is much more fun. You may also have fun learning the ways of the Mighty and Awesome convex edge. Many people are so overwhelmed by the pure ecstasy of their first convex experience that they reprofile every knife they own afterwards.

I see we have a wise man in our midst. How refreshing.

Well, do you think he's affiliated with that website? I mean he could have just come up with that name? Thanks for the heads up though, appreciate it. But lets not let this thread get off topic please. Any other places you'd recommend? I found that one on google shopping.

For a good all around fixed blade for outdoor use (in your budget) I would suggest the Buck 119 or Benchmade Rant (droppoint).

I also like the idea of saving up for a Fallkniven S1 or F1. Better to have a few high quality knives than a bunch of lower quality ones.

If a folder is what your looking for I would recommend the Spyderco Endura, Buck 110 (Alaska guide model from Cabelas) or the Kershaw leek you suggested.

'Zuk,

Regardless of what ya do here, if you love things like design, engineering, gadgets gizmos, how things work, etc. (and I'm guessin' ya do, ricerider) do yourself a favor and get an E.T. someday. Just to have. You'll be glad ya did. Oh yeah, did I mention it's a wicked slicer? Do ya know how to Google Shop for the best price? PM me if not.
Anyway, for what you're looking for I would get something other than the ones ya mentioned. But, get the E.T. sometime down the road. (and Band-Aids)

The Tenacious is a fantastic knife. I'm loving the steel (for everyday tasks). I havent used it outdoors much, but I have read it's done very well. I like my Tenacious over my old 440a leek.

I hate the ET. I think it's design is very impractical, and more along the lines of "cool, simply for the purpose of cool". The Steel in the s30v leek is better than the Tenacious, and the G10 on the leek is grippier too, but I dont trust that thin blade on the Leek for hard outdoor use. The tenacious' 8cr13mov has proven to be a very useful steel that has taken quite a lot of abuse and hasn't needed a lot of sharpening (yet), and the edge has held up well. I'm impressed with it.

I am new to knives but, of the three choices you posted I liked the E.T. in Urban Camo.

I just like things that look differnt. Plus its a folder.
