I have a Large 21 and love it but was thinking of trying a small. I think I may go for Small Starbenza or try to run down a Small Regular.

Just curious what people here would get of the two models or if it comes down to personal preference.
 
I've got both the large and small Sebbies and I much prefer the small for EDC. It probably has more to do with your hand size. For me, the small is roughly the same dimension as across my palm so I find it comfortable to use yet not so big as to be annoying in the pocket. I just don;t need more than 3" of knife for most things.

I like using the Large for heavy cutting tasks but would be interested in the Small for the EDC-friendlier size.
 
I have both as well and more often than not the small finds it's way into my pocket. It might be because I'm used to carrying that size of a knife. But it's large enough to do whatever I need to do on a daily basis.
I like the large but prefer the small.
 
I think the small sebenza is the perfect EDC, while the large is the perfect all around knife. That being said, to answer your question I would get the small regular. I actually think the 21 is better looking but the regular also looks nice and is discontinued so if you can find one I'd get that, you can get a small 21 later, but will you be able to find a small regular later? Arguably it's going to get harder.
 
I have a small 21 w/micarta inlays and a plain small regular. I prefer the small 21 because of the micarta inlays. If I had a plain small 21 I would prefer the small regular.

So I would choose which you like the best in terms of looks. Star-benza has the starburst pattern on the handles but the regular has the different shape handle/screws and blade. Blade difference more noticable on the large regular.
