WHICH pair doesn't belong?

Let's guess "#2, the knives are by two different manufacturers."

Tho' if I really "expanded my thinking," as per the OP's last injunction, my answer might look like,

"It's so green, and the penultimate hereford indicates a convergence of the bligh. I womble, I slithe, I prestidigitate the wah, #2, yes."

Ding-ding-DING! Pertinux for the WIN..:D

1 are both Benchmades, with 3 and 4 Bucks and Vic/SAKs.
2 is a Camillus (near as could be figured), and a Remington Bullet re-do That's why I turned the shields around on them all.

Now, there were several earlier guesses at 2, but not for the correct reason. ;)

#4- The import Buck has a wooden handle material, all other knives are plastic, the wood does not belong ;)

#2 because of the natural scales?
and if they're not...
bear in mind that stagalon comes from the rare and mysterious deeralon. :)

There are obviously several things that don't belong. From the Buck US vs Buck China. The non blades in pic 3 and the locks in pic 1.
