Which Rat for Me?

Well, I haven't heard from them today/tonight so far . . . I sent an email to info@swampratknives.com on Sunday evening and gave them my cellular since I'm out of state. So far, no cell calls and no emails.

Hopefully the HR is still in stock!

If there is a better method of contacting them then please let me know.

Howling Rat's would ship fairly quickly if you ordered soon. Once ordered drop me a note and I'll put a "rush" on the order and we'll ship it as soon as possible (probably within 2 weeks)

Thanks

:D:D

Thanks Eric!

Now, HOW DO I ORDER? I sent an email but no reply or I would have placed the order today. I realize their is no phone number...I'm ready for my litt'l Rat!

Q

You can order via the website at www.swamprat.com or you can mail in a money order to:
Swamp Rat Knife Works
11651 Co Rd 12
Wauseon, OH 43567

If you mail the order please include $9.95 for US shipping

Eric,

It is done. I went on line and placed the order immedately. I'm out of state conducting training and am not in the office or I'd send you an email or PM.

For some reason this road laptop won't allow me to access your PM.

You have to have a paid membership to get private messages ;)

Congrats on ordering your 1st Rat. . .(1st of many- its inevitable)

Now all we need are pics of the Rat when it comes in. You will not be dissapointed.

360joules, Thanks for the pick! Really brings it home- sure looks like a good pairing to me, now I really can't wait!

Looks like you got some use out of them, so if you don't mind my asking, what did you get when you sold them? (I'm assuming you sold them to get more/another knife- no intention to be nosy if it was for personal reasons)

Now that's just wrong........................messin' with the new guy like that.;)

Wow, much to my surprise my HR showed up at the office yesterday afternoon. Everyone waited as I opened up the box as they are interested in what this beast looks like.

Very impressive! What a knife!!! Thanks Eric!

FWIW - I'm in an occupation which has access to many production knives at wholesale costs . . . with that being said - I can basically order just about any production or semi production knife at wholesale cost.

So, this is probably begging the question . . . .why would I pay full tilt retail for a SRKW HR when I can order a number of other top name brands for substantially less?

Well . . . the answer to that question is this . . ."If I have to explain you wouldn't understand." It is easy to see why SRKW has such a huge following!

My son is a big advocate of a couple of other brands - he was sorta "ah, it is no different than the others" when I placed the order and consulted with him about my purchase. Well, I couldn't get the HR out of his paws most of the evening and now is hinting he would like to have one for Christmas - go figure! :p

I took it out last night for an outing with my son and gave it a good workout. I will spend the rest of the week working with this knife showing it no mercy. . . but it is definately a "keeper!" It is attached to my BOB right now and will stay until the Camp Tramp replaces it.

Photos and more comments to follow in an additional post. Thanks guys for the help and advise!
