Which SAK should I try out next?

Not trying to argue just want to convey my thoughts. For me I think having the saw is worth it as you never really know when you are going to need it. Some might need it more often in a urban situation and some might never use it, but even having it in that one situation where it saves the day is reason enough to carry it in my opinion. That is the whole philosophy behind carrying a SAK isn't it? Being prepared for situations you do every day as well as the ones you do not expect. This is just my opinion and everyones need and wants are different and are fine in there own rights. Just the fact of having any SAK on you tells me you are thinking ahead.

I have to disagree with you on the saw being better on the OHT. SAK saws rule all in the knife/MT world. Again this is just my opinion, but in my experience the majority rules on that one.

Can't we all just ...get along?

Either way you cant go wrong between the Pioneer or Farmer. Both are excellent knives. Now thats a fact. :D

On that we agree. Now, was that so hard? :)

Ben, maybe go minimalist with a Classic SD or Manager (I see that you have ordered a Classic). There is some special kind of strange, sick fun that comes from figuring out that you can make it through the day with nothing but a 58mm SAK. Rock on.

Victorinox Manager.

Victorinox Manager.

Yeah I just got my classic in translucent green yesterday and it seems to be a really capable little knife.

Not sure why, but I've been going ape-sh*p on acquiring Victorinox's. In the last week or so, I got a silver-Alox Cadet and am waiting for an Alox Bantam and non-Alox Bantam to arrive and I'm getting ready to order a Recruit and possibly a Sportsman. What the h*ll is going on?

I know I've bought seven SAK'S in the last two weeks they really are addictive.

I like the fact that they're relatively inexpensive enough where I can get a few and not take a big hit like if I was buying at $100+ plus dedicated knife that only works as a knife.

I just ordered a mechanic for work & a classic for around the house. I have a leatherman for work but having that on my hip is a bit to much along with all the other things I carry

Nice! I love the Pliers on Victorinox's, but I literally never use them for bolts or anything like that. They are GREAT as mega tweezers or a grabby tool for grabbing or holding small objects. They have unlimited uses, but I don't find the pliers practical for bolts unless you work with small bolts most of the time. Great decision to get the Mechanic.

I need the pliers for taking small nails out from drywall and what not. The screw driver for taking switch plates and outlet covers off. Knife for cutting plastic. I'm a painting contractor, I'll be using it a lot. Super excited.
Thanks

I've been on a SAK kick lately and it's been really fun. I already had a Deluxe Tinker and an Alox cadet and I recently bought more a Huntsman, an Explorer, a Wenger Evolution S10, and a Wenger Highlander plus I have a Victorinox Classic on the way. I want to try out some more SAK's what would you guys suggest I try next?

Go big with one of the 111mm models. Something different.

I would give the Bantam, One Handed Trekker, Soldier, Farmer, Adventurer, and perhaps the Dual Pro X a try.

I love the Adventurer. It is my EDC and has been for about 10 years. The side lock is very handy and the lock up is very good. I much prefer this to liner locks.

The Dual Pro X is a great knife. It is just a tad too thick to me for pocket carry. But, that serrated blade does come in handy and it would certainly be a great rope or seat belt cutter in an emergency.
