Which shipping company do you use?

Not the best person to answer this right now(having issues with USPS) but I'd have to say Fed Ex, and I've never used them.

UPS is incompetent and can't deliver to the right addresses.

USPS is also incompetent, doesn't keep track of where anything goes, and loses stuff for months.

I've been using DHL/Airborne lately. I get them through a Pack&Mail store. The price is right, I can track my pkg just like UPS and when its delivered they show who signed for it & you can view the sig online. No problems so far.

USPS Priority Mail...I haven't found anything better...(But I DO wish that they had true "tracking" like UPS, as the USPS "Delivery Confirmation" can be alittle "hit or miss" at times.).

I use Postal Service for shipping. When ordering something, I prefer it to arrive UPS or USPS. FedEx in this region is less reliable, but none are perfect.

Valuable: FedEx. (80%)

Not as valuable: Priority Mail (20%)

Everything I ship when I am billing a client goes FedEx. It's built into my price.

It appears as those this thread won't do you much good since so far you've gotten a recommendation for every major carrier. My two cents:

Fedex.

1) Tracking is better then USPS.
2) Fedex Ground is cheaper then USPS for the items I ship.
3) UPS will not pay on insurance claims
4) UPS will leave heavily insured items on a door step Fedex will not.
5) DHL is not readly accessible from where I am.

USPS- priority mail for regular stuff, or registered mail for really important stuff.

UPS- Heavy (20+lb) stuff.

USPS Priority Mail insured is the way I do it, and to this point I have had great luck.

Another vote for USPS Priority Mail. 90% of the time it is there in 2-3 days. Cost is like $4 to ship a folder. Use their website to pay for/print a label and drop it off at any post office without waiting in any line. Never had one lost myself either buying or selling.
