  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which should I get.

I love the back lock myself.

But for the the back lock that test is invalid..

The wire is holding the lock in place..

The cable was clearly behind the lock pivot pin. It wasn't holding anything in place. In fact if it crushed the FRN at all then the cable was beginning to deactivate the lock. As it did the 1st time when it slipped into the lock nick.

If lock strength is the OP's main buying point, it's gonna be tough to beat a TriAD this side of a fixed blade.

Andrew Demko's vids are the stuff legends are made of.

Thank you everyone for the comments. I got the chance to handle a Lil'Native with a compression lock over the weekend. It left me "meh." The fit an finish was good, the action and lock up was also very good but holding it in my hand didn't cause me to go "ohhh, this is nice." It felt ok and was more difficult to open with my thumb than my Dragon 2. There was nothing wrong with the Lil' Native other than it did not excite me. I was disappointed because I REALLY wanted to like this knife.

For now I think I will just stick with my Dragonfly 2 and Navigator.
