which side do you wear sheath if you do wear it on the belt?

I'm a righty. I like my small fixed blades horizontal left of my belt-buckle, like so...

Bigger blades ride left hip cross-draw (especially when wearing a pack.) I like scout carry as well but only my ESEE 4 is set up for that, atm.

I guess I'm lucky because I am left-handed but shoot right-handed, so... revolver on right hip (3 o'clock) and knife on left hip (9 o'clock), with Leatherman tool in horizontal sheath on left (10 o'clock).

I like to have my larger knives on my right, hanging low so I can grab them with my arm hanging straight down and usually a little forward. I like to have kydex or friction-fit sheaths so I can draw and sheath one-handed.

Small blades (bk-11, bk-14) go left of the belt-buckle, edge up. This gives me easy access if I'm sitting, like in a car. And I can draw with my left hand, if necessary.

I usually also carry a mid-sized blade at 3 o'clock. The bk-16 has occupied that spot since I got it six months ago. Sidearm at ~4-4:30. The 16 doesn't foul my draw. Out camping, I might replace the 16 with something larger, like the 5 or 9, in the same spot. My left side is completely taken up by phone, multitool, keyclip, &c.

If I am driving, on my left. It is more comfortable to have it hang off of the edge of the truck seat than jam into it. It is also easier to cross draw from the sheath in a sitting position. If I am carrying a hand gun it is also carried in the cross draw position for the same reason.

i have to play with this little more. it's much quicker to draw from right side. but for me, it's harder to put it away on the right side. cross draw works fine and i like it. but draw is slower since i have to reach over. putting away is much easier for me on cross draw. i think i'll try both way of carry for next few campout.
