I know this question has been asked and answered and I apologize for asking again.
which side do I take more metal off when my blade starts to curve?
The inside or the outside of the curve?
Thanks

JTWODOGS....."you have a bingo"! The side you grind too much off of will hump up towards you. As a general rule....that is what will happen. I have noticed some interesting phenomenon....when I have a blade that warped during quench...and it has been straightened during temper...when I go to do post heat treat grinding....the bow WILL come back. I find that trying to grind the other side in order to remove the bow is just an effort in futility.
