Which SOG Knives are american made?

It seems that this question has come up often with regards to various models and I think it would be helpful to those of us that care about these things if a comprehensive list was put out.

Hi Chris,

That's a massive informative list! :thumbup:

I read somewhere that for those SOG Knives that are 'Made in Taiwan', the blades are made in the SOG factory in USA and are then shipped to Taiwan for handles to be installed. Is this true? People have been raising the issue about the quality of knives produced in Taiwan so I wanted to clarify this point.

Knives made in Taiwan are made in Taiwan. It doesn't make sense to make something here ship it to Taiwan and then ship it back. It would probably double the price if we did that.

I checked all of mine just yesterday.

I have 3 made in Seiki Japan: Seal pup, Seal 2000, and Scuba/Demo

The rest are either said Taiwan or didn't say at all.

I heard somewhere that the only blades from SOG that aren't American made is the Fusion line. Made over seas so they can be sold for cheaper.

The SOG Tech, or the SOG Tech I, was made in Seki Japan as well, along with the rest of SOGs older production knives.

I want to have knife for hunting, for low temperature outside.
I m thinking about Duratech 20CV for summer, and 440C for whinter ( -25, -30 degrees of Celsius)
