Which Spyder is considered the Glock of the knife world?

Thx for the replies. All the E4 votes has me thinking I might need one! Also, good call on the Salts w/ H1...totally forgot about those. The ATR is a little more knife than I need, but real nice.

Kinda funny though, my user is usually a Navigator (PE G10 Gin-1) because it's always in my pocket. I basically cut down a tree with it this weekend during spring yard cleaning.

Paramilitary. I can't believe I'm the first one to mention the Para cause it seemed so obvious to me. But I don't have a Glock and maybe that has something to do with it.

I would definitly say the Native with S30V steel!! It is the one that got me started in this obsession:D.

You mean which one is most likely to blow up?
LOL
...Not unless Spyderco comes out with a .40 S&W knife...

I vote for the Endura/Delica models. They are versatile, reliable, easy to maintain and easily available... like the Glock pistols. Here, in France, some Spyderco models are difficult to find, but you always find an Endura in a guns/knives related shop.

I consider it is important to always own a Spyderco Endura and a Glock 17. Even if you buy other kind of knives (or handguns), these two items are the "basis". I was shooting and owning different handguns : Sig, HK, S&W... but there is always a Glock 17 in my safe. Same thing for knife, with my Sebenza, Benchmade, Klötzi... knives, there is always a plain edged Endura. ;)

Since I unlike the new Endura 4, because of its too complicated construction  (compared to the Endura 3, which is, in my opinion, an accomplishment in terms of design and functionality), I will probably switch for the Salt models... but I have to test the H1 steel before.

Sorry, folks, it has to be an FRN spyder, since the Glock itself uses FRN for the stock (not an epoxy resin like G10). It has to be light, inexpensive, and extremely practical, with a minimum of parts providing maximum function. So I also vote for the Salts.

Delicas and Enduras

Inexpensive, Basic, Underestimated, Unassuming, Ubiquitous, but suprisingly Effective.

As stated above, "It has to be light, inexpensive, and extremely practical, with a minimum of parts providing maximum function."

Looks like a "tie" between the Endura, Delica and Native! Can't go wrong with either one.

I carry a Glock and Endura every day.
FRN is very simular to the polymer in the Glocks.
Glocks are much cheaper to buy than any comparable brand firearm. There's nothing fancy or exotic about either the Endura or Glock. They both do their jobs well for a low price.
G27

For me, its the Endura III in FRN or Pacific Salt (PE)..
Definitely.
Both are light, sharp, reliable. Easily replaceable as well.

For the time being, I'll say the Para-Military, partly because it's the only one of my Spydercos I have a photo of with one of my Glocks. I just ordered both an Endura 4 and a Delica 4 from NGK yesterday, so when they've arrived all do some new plastic and steel portraits.
