ThanksI wish my Carbon Fiber one had some texture like that !
Mine is slick as glass .
I only got it because it has ZDP-189 (and all the good things I kept hearing about the Calis ) my only one so far.
PS : I love HAP 40 !
Good going ! ! !Happy Friday it is including Box Duty for the YojimboGot lucky and found a couple of hidden staples
before the slice. Must of been my Spydie intuition that kicked in

I agree 3V is stellar blade steelGood going ! ! !
Reminds me of a story I love to tell :
A decade or so ago I was out at the dumpster cutting up a huge shipping box with those big ~two inch long staples (copper coated but as I recall they are magnetic so = mild steel) .
I had just thinned a Cold Steel 3V Pendleton Hunter fixed blade to half the factory thickness , thinned to ~ 2mm at the spine.
Reprofiled the crap out of it to ~ 12 thou behind the edge and ~ 24 degrees inclusive .
Poor little frail thing !
RIght ?
Cutting away and smiling , cutting away and smiling . . .
THEN I took a good long cut down the side , building momentum like an express train . . . ohhhhh it was an awesome sight to behold. . .
WHENI saw . . . too late to stop . . . one of those big O' staples DIRECTLY in my path .
WHAMMO !
Took me a moment to get up the courage to look at the freshly sharpened " God like " edge . . .
NOTHING ! Not a mark !
I looked at the staple that I KNEW I had hit . . . big notch in the staple .
I love 3V .
