Yes sir it is quite rough. My only other Spydercos are PM3s and it’s not anywhere close. Given the intent behind the design it makes sense. Really locks your hand in

Awesome, I kinda wish that texture was on my military 2 salt. The scales do not feel any grippier than the regular ones despite the milled channels.

Yea I feel like if a person ever had to actually use a Yojumbo for self defense it would be like a saying I’ve heard about certain firearms before, they kill on one end and maim on the other.. Super secure grip.

It is interesting that my Yojimbo does not have the same texture. It’s the same texture as my PM3s

Not that it would be my first choice for defense. That said, the intent of the design is what it is.

Folding knives are terrible for defense in general. I'd rate them somewhere between hitting the gym and a good pair of running shoes.
