I’ve wondered about that too, Tim. That’s the way it came originally, fully coated with just a very tiny line of bare metal at the cutting edge. It’s almost as if there was a 3-step process involved; first with the scallops & bevels being ground, then the DLC coating applied, and lastly another final sharpening to expose that tiny line of metal at the very edge.

Sorry, just seen this!

It’s an aftermarket, customized PM2 Ultra. Yes, your correct, I believe that it starts with a Lefty PM2, then adds a button lock.

I got it 2nd hand.
