In my opinion, the Police 3 is one of the best knives ever made by Spyderco. It is long and thin and elegant. The fit and finish is immaculate. The blade is polished to an almost mirror finish. It's just a joy to hold and to use

The Sage 6 is my newest acquisition. A guy had it for sale on eBay. He had disassembled it, for some reason, and couldn't figure out how to get it back together. So I received it as a zip-lock baggie full of parts. But all the parts were there and I had it back together in about 20 mins and working flawlessly. The price I paid was $80.

I can understand how someone who is not familiar with modern folders and/or compression locks could have difficulty. There are a lot of parts that have to be fitted just right, and tolerances are tight. The Sage 6 is an amazing knife

I have been hanging with this Sage 5. I like everything about it. A knife in Rex 121 appeals to me. And I didn’t have a Sage.

Scales are from ShepardCC. I saw them on etsy after searching the internet for a minute or two... last time I looked on the site they had more available. Can't stop messing with this thing! (the knife, that is...)

Thanks. I’ll check them out. Subvert is one of my favorite Spyderco. Heck, favorite knives. Extremely well made, eye catching and sweet action.
