Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

Did you go with a PE or SE Tasman?

I carried my Stretch SB today as well, but with a Lava.
Haven't gotten one yet still gotta save. Not willing to part with any of my current knives just yet
But I'm thinking I want a plain edge. Don't have a sharp maker so sharpening a spyderedge could be an issue

Manix 2 S110V sporting the Big Chris regrind. This thing is a lean mean slicing machine now. I'm loving it.

^ Same pair I have. I also have the SB Manbug on my keychain and it gets more use than pretty much all my other folders :p

Hey 3rdgen, how many people typically work with you on your crew?
Just wondering, do they think you're crazy for wanting to take pics of your knives when you're in the middle of a job up on a tower?
Some of my coworkers think I'm weird for doing that and I'm just in a shop, not 80+ feet in the air, lol. :D

It has a Big Chris FFG regrind. It's so light I'm having a hard time reaching for my s110v Native. :o

Whoa, that looks wild with the FFG and a swedge! Pretty cool! Might look even cleaner if that swedge didn't stop so abruptly though... maybe blend it back? Either way, that's awesome.

Usually 3 or 4. More if we're actually building a large tower...it really depends on the complexity of the job. 4 on this job, but 2 of them were at the other tower because we were aligning a microwave link. And no they don't think it's weird because they see my knives on the job all the time. A few of them even have Spydercos, and it wasn't in the middle of the job either because we had just gotten the dish aligned, so I snapped a quick picture right before I started climbing down.

I haven't posted here in maybe over a year? Regardless those are fantastic shots:thumbup::cool:

Thanks! I can do better (Better camera, more setup/prep time etc.), but there is something about a shot taken "In the moment" that seems to work well end be well received. Oh, and welcome back.

This is probably my most well received work photo, taken at ~375 feet. I'm not holding it, but you can see the handle of my OD Goddard in the outside pocket of my tool pouch.

Come on! You've got two hands. :D ;)

Nice shot.
