I opened it up, thought "No effen way, it's too big" but then I put it on the scale--2.9 ounces! I am no steel genius, but the CTS-BD1 is doing pretty good so far. It's a dream to carry, but the lock is still too stiff. I'm continually amazed by how much knife this is for the weight. It's as big as my Tenacious and I don't notice it in my pocket.
