So what were the results? The suspense is killing me. [emoji12]. I only have the GB2, so cannot compare. But it does find my pocket often.

Today only my sweet little Chap played the roll of light duty secondary. Love it so much, it is often the first blade pulled for almost every need lately. Including prep for my daughter's wedding next week.

I like the look, blade shape, and length of the GB2 better but the GB1 is better feeling in my hand. I'd have a hard time picking. Both are way better with some sketchen scales to get rid of that ugly CF that doesn't cover the liner all the way IMO.

I certainly won't argue that the Sketchen scales look great but the liners are left exposed by design.
 
So to add contour so they didn't have to during manufacturing, to make the scales easier to make and not have to match up exactly, and because it looks cool.

Not much in the way of added function.

Either way, I live these knives. The Texas stamp doesn't hurt either.
 
This one doesn't want to let me leave the house without it in my pocket!!
