Ha, yeah. A little bit of both. [emoji12] I had forgotten I'd heard the Sage was coming in compression lock. But had never actually seen a pic until now. I am so totally going to be in the doghouse this week.....because I MUST have one. I don't know why that pic slapped me so hard with the "gotta have it" bug. [emoji23]

Joking aside, I find my pockets filled the same way. With little keychain knives, multitools, mini-pry's, backups to the secondary backups. The Boy Scout in me never went away.

N5 LW is always a friendly carry - only thing that would make it better is a wire clip. Nice choice.

I'm a big fan of the Native 5 LW & Delica and would love it if they had the wire clip like the Manix 2 LW. I think the location of the lanyard hole limits them to using the metal clips with the pass through hole. Oh well, the hourglass clip's certainly not a show stopper for me.

I've been carrying these two the past few days....

Nice combo! And yea, agree, def not a show stopper but what an improvement it would make. I think all lightweights should use the wire clip.

Today's carry, a HAPpy day!

I find the use or lack of use, of the wire clip, a Bummer!
So after modifying my Boomer52 Delica, I shared the idea with Steve and sent him my CF/s110v Native.
So the Boomer52 scales, on my Native, have the same mod..

I don't find the lanyard hole placement a issue, at all!

It sits deeper then the OG pocket clip and sleeker.. Yet not as horribly deep, as a ti deep carry clip..

Add this to a, Boomer52 lil para Delica, and it would be a Perfect all around EDC!

I had a feeling you'd chime in.

I was referring to Spyderco using the wire clip on the Native 5 LW (& maybe even the FRN Delica) like they do on the Manix 2 LW. I like the mod that Boomer did for you but not sure that Spyderco would be willing to lose (or move) the lanyard hole to use the wire clip. As much as I like the wire clip and appreciate Steve's work I'm not going to buy a set of scales for my N5 G10 just to use a wire clip. I'm not really sure I'd want the wire clip on the heavier G10 knife anyway.

Oh my, a delica/endura wire clip mod?! I so want this! So I take it that this was done by the mentioned user Boomer52? I could care less about the lanyard. But the wire clip is one of my favorite knife clips ever.

Please add the GB Air to the list that require a clip mod or addition .

You don't have to have Steve do scales or the mod.

I just used a Dremel with a cut off wheel, to do my Delica. Very Carefully.... (I took the scale off the knife, to do this)
Using the 2 clip holes, as the back of the wire clip. Then drilled the opposite side, a touch, too flush the head in the handle.

Bam! Wire clip mod!!!
Best part.. you can always go back to the stock clip! It hides the clip mod..
