I only received this a few days ago so can not really comment on how well the anodized colour hols out.

Have not come across any issues from other owners.

Do not use metal polish to it and you will be fine, flizt and most of the metal polish liquid/cream contain ammonia and abrasives that will remove the anodize, I've seen too many ruined that way...
