There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking the base model. It's an awesome knife! I have some sprints and exclusive models but some of my favorites are the base models. I bought a Para 3 when they first came out and, other than changing the clip to a short deep carry, the knife is great. I have the Para 3 Cruwear on pre-order and it's gonna have to be a perfect specimen to knock the base model out of rotation.
