  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

I have a preference for folders w/longer blades between 3.5-4" and own a lot of them, including a few even longer. While most of my knives are more expensive, I have great appreciation for the budget Spydercos which offer great knives for relatively little money.

One of those knives is the Resilience (the largest in the Tenacious family) w/a 4.25" blade and G10 scales that you can get for just around $50, which is a heck of a value. That's the knife I put in my pocket today and, it sits right up there among my favorite longer bladed Spydercos, right up there w/the Military and Police models.

Yeah, it's made in China and uses 8Cr13Mov steel but I personally don't have a problem w/either of those things. If you are looking for a BIG, cheap and well constructed knife, you can't find much better than the Resilience.
