Staying with the Ethnic Series, I switched from a Hungarian to a Chowke today.
Based on a Central African design, it about as basic a knife as you can make; something a blacksmith could easily shape an pound out in any rural village.
Still it's a very elegant looking knife and can be used/carried as an general utility knife but can also be used/carried as a a very effective fighting/SD knife w/its elongated wharnciliffe (Yojimbo) type blade.

As I sit here relaxing, listening to some Estimated Prophet from 4/27/77 in NJ at the Capitol Theater on YT... A most excellent version IMHO, 8 min & 20 sec of awesomeness... "time sure passing slow, afternoon streets turn grey, and I watch the cars below, my time coming any day, don't worry 'bout me no"

The only un-modded D4 I own, that I just received last night and went straight into my pocket. Has cut up a banana, some strawberries, the top off of a chip bag, and a coffee bag so far. I'm very happy to see, and now have, some M390 on a Delica! Thank you Spyderco and BBS.

That is an amazing Estimated Prophet my friend, actually that entire show is killer, nice Delica too. I'm contemplating grabbing one myself.
