Mate I find it holds up well. Great for fibrous plants like monstera & just general use. It's 1 of my favourite SE & edc it often.

My last four Spyderco knives.
Sitting on the knife roll I got from bhq. I was surprised with the quality of it for a free gift. This one is full with my Spyderco collection.
I’ve been loving the advocate. I almost want to order another while they are still available.

My first Spyderco!

The backlock was quite hard, so I took it apart, softened the spring a little and put some oil in. Action is really smooth now, a joy to flip and use!
The edge holds extremely well and is easy to sharpen with the strop.
Guess this will not be my last Spydie...
As I like the blade shape and the look of the handle, probably the Sage 5 or the Kapara will follow.
