For sure the Para 3 is very ego and a great carry and no doubt Maxamet is a great steel. One of my favourites too, great ergonomics and action. The steel cuts really well for a long time and develops a nice patina.
Could you tell what's the other beautiful knife on the picture? Looks like a kind of traditional with lockback? Maybe you wrote somewhere, but i couldn't find...
Thank you! Sounds like an interesting knife, makes a great (tool steel) pairing with the spydie too.For sure the Para 3 is very ego and a great carry and no doubt Maxamet is a great steel.
It’s a Civivi Rustic Gent with D2 Blade steel. Wonderful lock back with no play in any direction and blade centered right out of box.
One of the best “Traditional knife” bang for the buck out there imo.
Who made the scales you put on your rex shaman, looks like micarta? The color is gorgeous!
Spyderco factory scales. They are the forest green g10 scales from the knifejoker exclusive. I bought just the scales on ebayWho made the scales you put on your rex shaman, looks like micarta? The color is gorgeous!
Thank you! The texture of the G10 looks quite fine. I guess the forest green will perfectly harmonize with some rex patina.Spyderco factory scales. They are the forest green g10 scales from the knifejoker exclusive. I bought just the scales on ebay
