  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

20CV Delica, had to wait for deep carry clip, rather fond of blue scales
I use and abuse that k390 manbug and it just says "is that all you got?"

Today I was carrying an obscure (and previously unknown to me) Native 3 PE VG10 (C78PBK) that I acquired recently from EB.

It's "obscure" in the sense that it has a different model number than all other Natives (C78 vs C41) and, while it uses FRN scales like the Gen 1, it is fatter in the hand and uses a wire clip instead of Gin-1 blade steel and a full metal clip on the Gen 1.

Already knew that the the knife was not in very good shape to begin with (there is pitting and wear on the blade not visible in the poor photos that I've posted). Polished out most of the scratches/pitting but also ended up polishing out the engraged bug (a bit) in the process.

Since, I have already purchased a better one for my collection on the Exchange, I decided to carry it and to consider it a "user" that I may or may not resell later.
