Back to the basics, no flipper, no bearings, solid mid lock and no nonsense blade shape with pretty good steel and no sharpening choil/notch nothing to catch on material this way.

Yup. Had to do a full cleaning of the bike anyway so we got dirty! Overhauled the rear hub (which hadn't ever been done in 20 years) and did a full cleaning of the transmission.Heck yeah!
