Recently found out Spyderco was making non-trainers in BD-1 still, isn't that like AUS-8? Not that there's anything wrong with that, I own AUS-8 knives and love them... I own a few BD1N knives for my kitchen and a PM2, but I do trust Spyderco.... how do you like the knife?
Mate it's 1 of my favourite users. I'm not a steel expert, it holds an edge better than Aus8, have a delica in Aus8 the manix holds an edge longer & does take a little more to sharpen from dull. I find I like the manix with a toothier edge. The only steel I haven't liked from spyderco, is h1 in straight edge but love it serrated version.Recently found out Spyderco was making non-trainers in BD-1 still, isn't that like AUS-8?
