Put the soap down and walk away. It's not dirt it's Earth Armor. This well used and kinda dirty beast. Maybe I should give the scales a wash! I love the patina though.

I would love a lefty.Too late. I took it apart and really cleaned it. Not because of the scales, but because last year I developed some rust on the tang. Wifey used it camping and gummed up the pivot.
Today I washed it really well, cleaned the blade with soap and water and then gave it a hot vinegar soak for about 45 minutes. The patina is a little darker and more even. Oiled her up and put her back together. I had to touch it up after because the vinegar ate the fine edge away. It was still very sharp, but lost that shaving edge. The patina doesnt look that dark until you see it next to my S30V lefty…
Amphibious or Ambidextrous?BlindMouse2of3
Since I am, the lefty is my most carried. Although the wrong handed versions all work just fine in my left hand. Im pretty much amphibious anyway so using the standard models in my “other strong hand” was never a problem.
I carry a handgun for work (right eye dominant, right handed shooter) so I carried the millie in my left pocket anyway because the holster covered my right pocket. When I pull the righty millies from my left pocket I point my thumb behind me with my knuckles touching my hip, put my index finger between the knife and me and thumb on the clip. Comes out exactly set up to open with out turning the knife around.
Sometimes I forget which version is in the pocket and pull em out wrong but its not a big deal. I carry the lefty for weeks at a time and sometimes just switch it up for fun, like this weekend.
I regret selling my 204p/green sprints. Wanted to fund a new toy.
