Well it happened that pesky Dragonfly has kicked out both my Manbug & Chaparral. I read quite a few reviews on the various Dragonfly models available to me and i was tempted by the G10 or the ZDP but at $159 and $125 respectively i went for the much more reasonable FRN at $85, i guess that is expensive compared to costs in the States but if you want the best what are you going to do ??? And to be honest i have foung VG10 to be good enough for most tasks.

Love the dragon fly, my personal favorite is the super blue which National still has in stock for $67

Indeed :D

I swapped to this one when I got home. No liners make it thinner than the FRN Stretch I have, and it's VERY light. Carries better than most knives I've seen with this much edge length.

Yea I've been thinking about picking one up myself

I recommend it...the subtle swedge on the spine is just perfect. In fact, there's almost nothing I'd change about it (Pivot screw instead of pin...mine doesn't have play but I prefer a screw). My pinned FRN Native is still rock solid after years of use, including a 275 foot fall onto gravel, so I'm not particularly worried. Here's a size comparison.

its a bit bigger than I usually carry, but the look of the knife appeals to me. I've been looking for a Baby Goddard, but they want a fortune lol

I prefer the ergos of the full size version...it really does carry well for a knife so big, and in my experience it's more sheeple friendly that most knives of similar size. And I wouldn't mind a baby Goddard for my collection, but they're too expensive and I can't see myself actually using it, and my collection is one of users...I won't buy a knife I'm not prepared to throw in my rotation.
