Which Spyderco gives the most bang for the buck?

I think the D'Allara drop point CE is a great knife for the price. It's so solid and feels good in the hand. Also, my large Persian might have been the best value for money, but I think i got it rediculously cheap.

Here are my picks:
Under $50: Endura, Centofante III, Native (S30v).

$50-$100:
D'Allara drop point

Over $100:
Chinook, Military

Out of these, I think the best value is the Centofante III and the D'Allara. In another thread the D'Allara was referred as the "poor mans Manix". You could also make the case that the Centofante III is the "poor mans Ocelot". Then again when I think Spyderco, I think value.

The Native II is a fantastic deal. Where else in the knife world can you get such a great design with a steel like S30-V for $40? Also, the Delica/Endura, depending on your preferred size.

I ordered from the blade shop, but I found several sights that have it under fifty bucks. You have to call to make the order though if it won't let you add to cart (they all still show not in stock). But theknifewherehouse will let you buy it online ($51)

Nightstarflashlight.com has it for $48.

pdqsportsgear $46.99

dadsknifeshop.com $48.43

I would go with the Delica4 in SS. I got mine for $48, but have seen them online for $43. Not bad for a knife with four clip positions, and three different blade choices and an excellent steel to top it off.

I just picked up one of the S30V Natives at Wally-World. I needed:rolleyes: a (better) lightweight knife with a clip for a river trip. One that I wouldn't cry about losing. I'm way impressed at what 40 bucks will buy.

Under $50: Native in S30V

Under $100: Oddly, don't think I have any that normally fall into this price range, though I bought a nice Impala and a nice Temperance for $60 to $70 each a while back.

Over $100: Paramilitary, Spyderco UK Penknife

... and Byrd Crow.

Oh, and the Mini Paring Knife is another major favorite. I think I paid $15 for mine. Best of the many small paring knives in my kitchen.
