Which Spyderco is best for under $100?

Hands down the P2 - a Digi Cam P2 or Black G10 P2, delivered for <$100 are doable at more than one dealer. I know knives are personal and subjective which accounts for a big reason we buy certain knives but as far as I'm concerned, the P2 for under $100 is one of the best values in the production knife world right now. It offers all the things many knife lovers look for from a design and functionality standpoint. A slim, small feeling footprint, 4-way clip option, large lanyard hole, extremely strong lock, pretty much ambidextrous to a reasonable degree, USA made, S30V that has a fantastic HT, FFG, a blade stock thickness that is in the sweet spot for slicing and strength, a usable, pointy tip for general EDC use (I've removed lots of splinters with the P2 and Millie tip ;) ), a well done pivot bushing, etremely easy one-handed operation to open and close, nested liners, blade length in that EDC sweet spot for many users, silky smooth action, rock solid lockup on every one I've had and for a Spyderco, the profile isn't very wide while benefitting from the awesome Spyder Hole so know stud to impede the full length of the cutting edge while slicing

Mine was $98 delivered to my door and for that, my reaction is :eek::eek:

The tenacious is great for the money but could use better tell in my opinion. I'd gladly pay $20 more.

ZDP Stretch or standard Para 2. Wonderful knives and fantastic value for the money spent.

My first Spyderco ever was the Manix 2XL and its a great knife. Love the cage lock and its a great slicer and is thin and carries nicely. I also just purchased my first Para 2 and I now see what everyone that has one raves about. It's a great edc, not to big not to small, fits great in the hand, great lock, good steel. Your really can't go wrong with either of these knives.

I'm in the air about which is best, there's many great ones under your price limit.
I personally own a Stretch, Sage 1 and Manix 2 which are all within your "under $100" limit, and all 3 are great knives. Like many have said in this thread already, I guess it's more the type of work you are doing with it and what you feel comfortable using. I use my Stretch as an EDC, and my Sage 1 more as a "dressed up" knife...
good luck making your decision

I have to vote Para 2 as well. The value to dollar ratio on that one is very good.
