Which Spyderco lock type do you NOT care for?

Hate the compression lock because it is on the wrong side of the knife.
Hate the ball lock because my gaint fingers can not unlock it.

I don't buy liner locks anymore. Lockbacks, ball bearing (2nd gen), compression locks - all happy.

I don't like the compression lock because you don't a satifying KACHUNK when you open the knife. :(
Of course, this doesn't keep me away from knives I like.

It seems it was Spyderco's answer to BM's Axis lock.

I have always considered the ball bearing lock as a poor copy of the Axis lock.

I don't own a Spyderco ball lock, but wouldn't buy one because I can tell by looking at it that it would be difficult to disengage while wearing gloves.

I do not agree with the reasoning that:

Its apparent difficulty to disengage makes it one of the safest locks I have used. :) To me, it is like an axis lock that won't slide if your grip is over it and moves... ..it is really easy to open a knife using the ball bearing lock, but nearly impossible to accidentally close it. For me, the few extra seconds taken to close the lock are worth the knowledge that that phenomenally sharp blade won't accidentally clamp down on my fingers.

An Axis lock will not disengage when you are using the knife.

There are times when it is very important to be able to easily close a blade one-handed and in thick gloves.
I am not convinced that that would be possible with a ball lock.

The knife I carry in my fire jacket is an Endura.
The lock back is simple, reliable and easy to disengage while wearing thick gloves.
