Which Spyderco next?

No Military? You'll have an email. :)

However, I would lean towards the S90V Manix 2 instead of the Military. They are rare and I don't think many people will be letting theirs go easily. Even at $200 ($25+ the average street price) it's a steal.

It looks like a Military is next. The size is not really an issue, I have carried heavier and bigger knives before, but having one knife in each pocket with under 4 inch blades and under 4 ounces each has spoiled me a little.
(P'kal right and Native left usually, but sometimes a heavier Manix 2 or a Kershaw Tyrade along with the P'Kal)

Oh yeah, Badhammer, a Chinook III must be added as well. I guess my collection will never be complete unless I go through Spyderco addiction treatment, or earn enough to just join the collector's club. :-)

Thanks again all for the great suggestions. How do you like the military in the digital camo? I have also received an offer to sell an orange one.

Hmmm, never had an orange-handled knife but I never thought to have a yellow one either and soon there will be three yellow-handled salts if I don't sell or trade any of them.

I have run into quite a few people who hate how the Manix 2 looks and they hate the plastic cover for the ball lock.

I am not one of those people, I love the knife and think it is one the best EDC offerings that Spyderco has to offer.
A bit heavy, but not bad. Incredibly solid lock-up and fantastic jimping almost everywhere.

I bought the hollow ground/G10/154CM steel version almost right after they came out, and an improved, lighter version of it is highly tempting.

I will keep and have my current Manix 2 and probably have it reground by Krein someday, but the CF scales and FFG S30V steel blade on this limited production run really got my attention.

The Manix 2 I have now has incredibly good fit and finish, so it is hard to let go for too little money. I paid $82.00 brand new and shipped and felt like I got a good deal. :)

The grip on the Manix 2 is one of the best I have dealt with for detailed cutting chores.

I will check go look at that email in just a bit. Wrong machine right now.

Thanks!

G-10 Caly 3... The CF version has some easily scratched outer steel.

Citadel? Leafhopper? The list never ends. ;-)

I was wondering about getting the G10 Caly 3. It is a nice price savings over the CF as well.

I have newer owned a carbon fiber knife. How does CF measure up against G10 for a handle material?

Orange Military, old style Police, or Endura 4.

Live on the edge (har har) and get a spydie-edge model. Them suckers can cut.

I have to go with the the majority and say the Military - I'm waiting for the Ti-Millie to become available, although the digi-cam/black-coated version is calling for me....

Hmmmm, what a load of choices.......

I think that the next one will be the D2 Paramilitary, not sure what after that.

Thanks for the fantastic suggestions! I am going to sell a few things at the next gun show. I had planned on coming home with cash, but it may all be steel instead. :-)
