Which Spyderco to get

PM2 for sure! There are plenty of videos on youtube of people actually testing and using this knife, putting it through extreme use, and it still held a paper cutting edge. Once I saw one particular video on the PM2, I knew I needed it. I would recommend watching some of these videos and I doubt you will not want it after.

No one has mentioned the Superleaf yet. Get it while you still can. Great knife that I think is one of Spyderco's most underrated models.

I have recently ordered (not here yet) the Spyderco "Civilian".

Scary knife, but, it serves a purpose.

Para 2 ain't cheap... Remember there is also the Manix 2 XL if you like large folder. The Manix is ball bearing lock similar to BM axis but bit stiffer when pinching.

Para 2 is compression lock...police liner lock.

I love a spyderco knives, so I'd say any one you choose will be perfect. The ones I carry/have carried personally and have abused the most:

And my favorite spyderco and my everyday companion. (only spydie in this pic ;) )

Thats a nice edc set up. I just wish my state allowed conceal carry of a fixed blade cause that's a nice fixed blade. You also own the same gun my mom has as well

guess im geting a police model then since i like back locks a lot

I have owned a Police g10, a Military, and Para 2.
For the size of blade on the Police, the lock back allowed for a bit of blade play, not much, but definately noticeable, especially when compared to the Millie or Para 2.

The Para 2 is great. You couldn't go wrong with an Endura wave either. The wave is built in that way, no zip ties required.

Sprint run caly in earth brown. .. I think that knife would be another good one to look at.

the paramilitary and military are as good as production folders go. the police, the other nice seki city models include the caly series and the stretch. or you could try the taichung collaborations like the gayle bradley, the techno, southard flipper, or the sage series.

Hank is right on target. I have/had all of these at one time, other than the police model. So you have a flipper, a longer heavy-duty like the Gayle bradley or the Stretch, a short heavy-duty (Techno) and the Sage series for easy office carry.

My all-time favorite is the PM2; it does everything well. 3.3" blade in MANY steels and variations of styles. I've had about 15 total in various blade-steels; only three or four right now in rather plain (S30V) steel. The ParaMilitary 2 is a great folder; the compression lock is strong and quick and easily deployed and put away.

My price range is about 100-155 dollars and I'm planning on geting it from blade hq since it will be free shipping there( for items over$99)

Today, I had $150 to spent on a Spyderco knife...instead of getting one, I got three

The Tenacious for $28
The Manix 2 LW trans-blue for $65
The delica 4 emerson opener (wave) $55

I kept it under $150

You can one good quality one.
