Thanks everyone for the replies, so I think I am going to rule out the caly 3, just because it is pinned construction, and I would like to be able to adjust the knife, and maybe do something like this -
http://thespydercoknifeconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39002 - where this user actually put a CF scale from his Sage 1 on his Sage 2, which looks kinda cool, so thats another reason why I wanted screwed construction I guess. Also it just makes it seem "better" as even if I never use it, its still there, so thats a plus to me.
Also, how long will the delica g10 or the FFG FRN ones stay around for? I would like to get a delica, either a frn or g10 one, as they are both full flat ground, and when I held a delica 4 FRN the other day, it was very comfortable.
But I've decided to go with the sage 2, as I figured, for 215 AUD, which is a lot of money for a knife, is still a good price, and I'm buying from an aussie dealer, along with another knife, and some bits and pieces.
Maybe get the delica FRN/G10 later down the track, as I want to use the knives I've bought, not really have to choose which one today kinda thing, as I get more value for money that way.
And @elkins45, thanks for those pics, very helpful, and reagrding what you said, I've only carried knives tip up, and was fine with it, so I guess not having the option to tip down is not a negative for me, and having the option to carry tip down, i.e. delica is just another plus.
about the clip, I'm looking forward to the wire clip, should be awesome as everyone here has said, and really, if the retention of the delica is good, then I don't mind it having the standard metal clip
About the choil - even though delica has no choil like you said, it still felt very comfortable to me, and I figure the choil on the sage 2 and dragonfly g10 is all just icing on the cake, as i have seen videos of people getting good grip on the sage 2 without using the choil, which is good, as I maybe thought at one point, becuase the choil is there, they have made the handle shorter, and you therefore ahd to use it, so that is a plus too, if i'm right about it
Thanks
