OP has more leftover space than you, theirs is probably fake. Now that yours is marked off, time to start grinding? If I was a wharncliffe fan, (I'm not other than for box cutters) I'd say that blade shape looks pretty good without the wave on top.

Nah. Minor concern is that one is a factory second and that mod would remove the mark that identifies it as such. Major concerns are
1) Too much work
2) It would take a lot more than that to get me to like it.

It's fake. The legit Yojimbo 2 blade has a very different shape...
