Which Spyrderco - Larger Model

Millie by far. My favorite outdoor folder; light, strong and cuts everything it needs to.

I'm getting a Para2 for the times when the Millie is a bit too large for other people...
 
I've had an Endura, and I have a Military. I'm going to be getting another Endura again because it was easier to carry. The Military has a much better steel, though, and it has a lot more cutting power.

S30V is not that much better over VG-10. VG-10 takes a much finer edge and is just a point less on the RC. Unless you're gonna be cutting a lot of cardboard or rope, I don't believe that S30V will outdo VG-10 and for EDC chores I'd like a razor sharp edge which S30V loses rather quickly. S30V holds a "working edge" longer though.

Amen to that.

In lieu of an original Manix being available, I would vote for the Military. After I first got mine I thought it was too big and that I would not use it. Heck, since then, I have used it for more down and dirty tasks than any of my other knives.

You can debate the flavor all day long (color, scale material, blade coating) but there are no really bad choices for the Military.
 
Just in case there was a cadre of folks following this thread with white-knuckles. I ended up getting all three: A Military, an Endura, and a Delica plus an ESEE-5.

Pretty happy I did:D
 
Go for the RIL titanium Military. That would be my first choice if it was legal to carry where I live.

I think it's quite a bit better than VG-10. Box cutting is most of my cutting work, though.
