Which state has the most relaxed knife laws?

all i care about is being able to carry my Benchmade 42 legally!!! anyone know where thats possible... besides new york... isnt iowa cool about it?

4" would be nice, but I'm talking about being able to carry around a nice 6-7" fixed blade non-concealed. I'm guessing you probably can in Alaska.

Gun laws are OK in illinois, you just can't conceal. I'm actually applying for my FOID card today. I'm gonna be getting a mossberg 590 for home defense, and maybe some light hunting. Hell, around here people shoot their shotguns off on new years day. It's soooo different than living around chicago. I'm personally glad I don't.

yeah im form MT and as long as its 4in or under you can carry it no matter what as long as its not push button open ( switchblade) and it can be any length if you are legally hunting or backpacking or doing anything that one would have one for protection or recreation or in your own premises. i don't like to have anything bigger than 4 in town anyways, people get scared...

SD doesn't allow ballistic knives. Other than that anything goes.
As for guns,
$10 cash will get you a CCW. Class II firearms and such are allowed! 24 hour waiting period on hand guns if no CCW permit, nothing on rifles/shotguns.

Hows that for freedom? Pretty good I think.

I had heard a rumor that indiana was going to outlaw all serrated blade knives cause of them being easier to get into people then out but i think it was just a rumor, but that would include about everyone of my knives!
